Was then painted Satin Black. Only raced 6 times and ran 11 seconds effortlessly, drives straight as a dye and brakes in a straight line too! With little effort there's a lot more to come from this and capable of sub 10 seconds. It has a 500 CID Caddy Motor built with 040 Overbore, Keith Black Pistons, 3500 Stall Convertor and 10-1 High Compression (Run on Pump gas) It also has a re-conditioned TH400 Transmission, with low 1st and 2nd Gear but with a high 3rd Gear. On the rear is a 9 inch axle (this was built with new parts through out too). It has a full locker and uses 33 Spline Strang Shafts (Diff Ratio 3.90). The back end is a brilliant setup based on Leaf springs but with ladder bars and floters It has twin batteries and a fuel cell over the rear axle (for traction), High quality fuel pump had a new radiator and oil cooler fitted too, shatter shield is fitted around the transmission too. Fitted with a line lock, good tyres and quality gauges on an aluminium dashboard. Underneath was taken back to a good surface and then wire brushed and shultz'd - Its a very solid vehicle. The truck itself is very light an torquey. Is turnkey and reliable, most items were new when it was built and has seen little use since the build, build cost was over 12k It is a great Drag Truck but we are led to believe that if it was to be used legally on the road it would not need an SVA and would simply need an MOT and fill out the paperwork. There is a big file full of receipts totaLling thousands of pounds spent at TVR specialists. All servicing has been maintained throughout its life up until 2019 where it has only covered approx 500 miles since then. Straight through the MOT with no advisories. The car is a real head turner and for added attention Sleeved the carbon cans. They pop and bang on the overrun to ensure ear to ear smiles for miles. Mechanically the car is very solid It had the factory recall engine rebuild at 11k miles and the 1k follow up service all recorded in the service book. Throttle bodies refurbished, new clutch and slave cylinder all at 35k miles so there is plenty of ware left on both. (5k miles traveled since) Upgraded the front and rear brakes from standard to drilled 322mm on the front and 280mm on the back. Replaced the standard radiator for an alloy radiator in 2017. Its also had the bonnet conversion done so you can access the engine bay with a little more ease. Overall the car is mechanically great but could do with some love to bring her back to a great cosmetic standard. The engine bay will clean up with a bit of spit and polish, the bodywork has the usual crazing on the hot spot on the bonnet and there are a few cracks on the edge of the service bonnet that are easily fixed. There are some stone chips as you would expect with the age of the car on original paint. The interior is fair but if you wanted to get the car back to concourse will need a re trim. Introduced at the May 1994 Geneva Salon, the F355 - available as a either fixed-head Berlinetta or targa-roofed GTS - was the standard bearer for a new generation of more technologically advanced 'small' Ferraris. Based around a robot-welded sheet steel monocoque equipped with all-round independent double-wishbone suspension, ventilated ABS disc brakes and power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, it used a new computer-controlled electronic damper system that self-adjusted depending upon the feedback gleaned from various road speed, brake pressure, suspension loading and steering sensors. Further enhanced by a ground-effects undertray, the F355 was revealed to be seven seconds and four seconds a lap faster round Ferrari's Fiorano test track than the 348 and 512TR respectively. Beautifully trimmed, the model's cosseting interior came with leather upholstery, electric windows and air-conditioning as standard. Best of all, 355s are easy to handle, and they love to rev all the way to their incredible 380bhp maximum output at 8250rpm, thanks to the longitudinally mid-mounted quad-cam 3496cc V8 being built to mouth-watering specifications: 11.1:1 compression ratio, F1-style titanium con-rods, forged alloy pistons, three inlet and two exhaust valves per cylinder (40 in total) and Bosch M 2.7 engine management system. Total F355 Berlinetta production reputedly amounted to 5,071 cars. Finished in Rosso Red with Black leather upholstery, this left-hand drive example left the Maranello factory in 1995 and it's believed to have resided in Italy until the recent arrival on these shores.
